What is a certified/sworn translation?
A certified translation is for official and administrative use cases; the translator certifies that the translation of the original is true, complete and accurate. It bears the translator's stamp and signature.
How much does it cost?
Translation cost is determined based on a number of factors: length, document type (true or scanned PDF, handwritten, Word document), urgency, complexity, and most importantly the time required for its completion.
What is transcreation?
Transcreation is the art of applying marketing, advertising and culture-specific insights when translating for commercial purposes. This means tweaking the content to fit the target audience and sometimes an overhaul is necessary. The process requires a collaborative approach with the client and a detailed brief about the target audience.
What is apostille?

What do I need to get a sworn translation?
You need to provide the original document, a copy of your ID, and mention the purpose of the translation and the receiving country or institution.Â
How much time does a translation take?
Completion time depends on length, document type and complexity. The more straightfoward the document is, the faster it is completed.
Do you have a minimum fee?
I charge a minimum fee of USD30.
How much do you charge for an extra copy?
I charge USD5 or equivalent for an extra copy. A high DPI digital copy of the certified/sworn translation is provided free of charge.
Can you translate my website?
Absolutely. As a matter of fact, website translation falls under the umbrella of creative translation. It requires adapting the content to page layout and graphics. It also needs an "audience design" to adjust the tone to a different culture.
How can I pay?
